Pulsar SSS

Northern Beaches Cruise 17th March 2002

The Cruise went from Repco at Parramatta (Victoria Rd) to Mobile at Epping then on to Mona Vale beach where we had lunch and then onto Palm Beach. There were a dozen or so Pulsars on the cruise, handful of N15s, handful of N14s (two being Turbo) and two GTiRs.

Other people also had digital cameras, could you please send me the pics and I'll wack them up here (or you could also uploaded them to a webspace and I'll link to them.

Thanks to everyone who went on the cruise, was great to meet everyone - hopefully we can do this again sometime and maybe get a few more cars involved. Mapping out the cruise will also help since it was mainly a follow the leader - Which was all good till people got left behind at traffic lights. It was good to see peoples reactions to a dozen SSS's in a row :)

Anyway, here are the links to the pictures - average picture size is about 100k - all are 640x480 with pretty savage compression - that's what you get when you buy a cheap digital camera :P

At Parramatta Repco - I was running a little late, which was bad since I was the one organising this cruise!!:

At Mobile at Epping - Simons GTiR was waiting for us:

Mona Vale Beach - North end car park (Miss SSS was a little late turning :p ):

033.JPG (126880 bytes)034.JPG (87115 bytes)035.JPG (93054 bytes)036.JPG (94139 bytes)037.JPG (94183 bytes)038.JPG (104051 bytes)039.JPG (90494 bytes)040.JPG (110127 bytes)041.JPG (126451 bytes)042.JPG (112718 bytes)043.JPG (107823 bytes)044.JPG (100055 bytes)045.JPG (97816 bytes)046.JPG (95237 bytes)047.JPG (99327 bytes)048.JPG (99617 bytes)049.JPG (106215 bytes)050.JPG (108090 bytes)051.JPG (114976 bytes)052.JPG (102763 bytes)053.JPG (81351 bytes)054.JPG (93692 bytes)055.JPG (133221 bytes)056.JPG (90870 bytes)057.JPG (90814 bytes)058.JPG (96636 bytes)059.JPG (86815 bytes)060.JPG (103974 bytes)

Late arrival at Mona Vale was this N14 with a SR20DET swap...and TWO intercoolers - pick which one is plumbed in :)

Your probably wondering why there's a picture of someone holding their numberplate and a shot of a roof. The numberplate was making an awful noise with the massive amount of base that was coming out of the car. The roof was vibrating a good couple of inchs which was weird to see (ps Love those rims Rich):

076.JPG (91837 bytes)077.JPG (107261 bytes)078.JPG (88223 bytes)079.JPG (122141 bytes)080.JPG (90350 bytes)081.JPG (86241 bytes)082.JPG (133322 bytes)083.JPG (114299 bytes)084.JPG (77516 bytes)085.JPG (100554 bytes)086.JPG (109749 bytes)087.JPG (90785 bytes)088.JPG (113127 bytes)089.JPG (99245 bytes)090.JPG (111904 bytes)091.JPG (109252 bytes)092.JPG (103571 bytes)093.JPG (96185 bytes)094.JPG (98625 bytes)095.JPG (86921 bytes)

On the road to Palm Beach - I really shouldn't try to take pictures while driving:

096.JPG (88724 bytes)097.JPG (82562 bytes)098.JPG (105258 bytes)099.JPG (78783 bytes)100.JPG (97860 bytes)101.JPG (133114 bytes)

At Palm Beach North end. This is where another GTiR owner who was just out cruising drove past to see a dozen Pulsars and freaked. He immediately jumped out and started hassling Simon about his GTiR:

We're all suffering from heat stroke by now - check out the 180kph Jap dials. That's a 156kw at all four wheels GTiR as well!
